Kloof Junior Primary is an exclusively foundation phase school. We have created a small, intimate teaching and learning environment with a friendly and caring staff complement, who are extremely passionate about what they do. Our teachers who are specialists in their respective fields, take on a positive, ‘assertive discipline’ approach to learning and teaching.

We focus on team work so that no staff member works alone and are always supported as part of a team. We encourage staff to uphold our values of hope, courage, respect, trust and honour and learners are encouraged to DO THEIR BEST.

A professional development programme assists all staff in growing professionally whilst also having opportunities to get to know colleagues more informally too.

The staff at Kloof Junior Primary believe in going the extra mile, encouraging our learners to be the best that they can be, extending children who show potential in a particular area whilst providing assistance to those who need it in ways that make a difference. Our staff ‘know’ their learners inside and out and strive to give them the best possible environment, that is conducive to interactive, hands-on learning.
