Meet Our Interns

Ashvika Ramsuk – Intern

KJP is a state-of-the-art kind of school; not only does it provide exceptional education to our young children, but it also provides us with a phenomenal learning experience. My experience at KJP has been extraordinary. I have grown so much in a short space of time, and I have learnt so much with the tremendous help from all of the educators who have been so innovative and supportive. It will always be an honour and pleasure to be a part of the KJP family where we are dedicated to enriching the lives of our young children.

Gabriela Cipriano – Intern

From the moment I started my journey at KJP I have felt at home and welcomed by every member of staff. Teachers are always willing to go the extra mile for their learners and really put the learners at the centre of their teaching. It is a supportive and beautiful environment to work in and really has allowed me to grow both as an individual and professional. I believe KJP really strives to help each learner do their best in the classroom and outside of the classroom, and helps learners develop respect for themselves as well as others. I have loved my time so far at KJP and feel very proud to be a member of staff.

Miranda Msibi – Intern

I have only just started my internship here, but have really enjoyed my time at Kloof Junior Primary thus far. I am currently in my third year of foundation phase training. The school environment is friendly, positive and engaging, and you are given the opportunity to learn and grow.

Kayla Buter – Intern

I am currently interning in Grade 1 under the amazing mentorship of Grade 1 teacher Miss Tayla Yunnie. My experience thus far at Kloof Junior Primary School has been enriching, educational, cheerful and an experience that I will not soon forget. The Kloof Junior Primary staff have made me feel so welcome and a part of this school’s brilliant team. I have learned many invaluable lessons to help better and further my future career in foundation phase teaching. The children I have had the privilege of meeting and every so often teaching have given me the most rewarding teaching experiences. My experience in Kloof Junior Primary’s environment has been a kind, supportive and loving one and has only grown my love for teaching even more so.

Gabrielle van Niekerk – Intern

Kloof Junior Primary has been such an amazing opportunity for myself as a future teacher. I have absolutely loved meeting and being a part of the team and learning from my mentors. The school has an inviting atmosphere and created a space for myself as an intern to grow, learn and inspire the young children.

Nqobile Ngubane – Intern

My stay at KJP has been nothing short of amazing. I feel so blessed and so privileged to be part of this extraordinary school. My biggest highlight has been the wonderful KJP staff. The teachers are always there to lend a helping hand and pass down their exceptional knowledge and expertise. They are a true representation of what our school stands for. It’s great to be here!!!

Zuzeka Happiness – Intern

I started at KJP as a part of the EEI initiative and then recently was offered a position as an intern where I was made to feel very welcome in the school. It is an absolute pleasure for me to be here because I am appreciated and motivated every day to do my best. The staff is very supportive, as they are well-motivated and goal-driven teachers. They are always willing to go the extra mile for their children and other people around the whole school, and that alone encourages and motivates me to do the best.

Courtney Digges – Intern

As a past pupil from Kloof Junior Primary, it has been incredible to return here in an intern position. My time at KJP has been an amazing learning experience. The staff is very welcoming and open to passing their knowledge on. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the opportunities that have been sent my way.

Kayla Young – Intern

Ever since I started my internship at KJP, I have been blessed with amazing people around me. The KJP team always motivates everyone to do their best, especially the interns. All KJP staff are willing to go the extra mile for their students and each other and it is the most inspiring environment ever.

Sibongile Makhathini (Mrs Mak) – Teacher Assistant

I started at Kloof Junior Primary in May 2016 with the Grade Rs. KJP is like my home and the staff have become like my family. I enjoy teaching these precious children, and if they are happy then I am happy too! Grade R is a special place where I can show my creative side and do lots of art with the children. I also teach Grade 2 extra language, which I find very rewarding.
