OUR MASCOT

Each of the Kloof Schools has a mascot and Kloof Junior’s is a leopard cub in keeping with the Kloof Schools’ Leopard theme. The reason for the choice of this animal is that the area around the Kloof gorge was once the habitat of leopards and a leopard also features prominently on the Kloof crest. Our leopard cub mascot is a new addition to our school. We will be naming it, painting a mural of it in our school and giving the children an opportunity to learn about this animal in a meaningful context.
