Sport

At Kloof Junior Primary, we offer a variety of sporting codes such as swimming, netball, cricket, hockey, soccer and cross country. We believe this is the perfect age for laying the foundation for sports. We refer to our extra-mural programme as Sport for Life, as we aim to teach each child this essential life skill. We take a personal interest in each child and take time to acknowledge them for all that they achieve, whilst also guiding and correcting them where appropriate. The ethos during all our lessons is one of affirmation, participation, fun, involvement, progress and ultimately excellence. All PE lessons and sports’ practices are set up by the Sports’ Department. Extra coaches assist to ensure that participants are constantly involved, and work in small groups, each teaching a different skill.
The Sports’ Department is passionate about the development of the individual, developing self-confidence and nurturing a love and passion for sport.
